Terms of service

1. Scope

These terms govern the use of the platform by consumers and businesses. The provider is [Vorname Nachname], [Straße Hausnummer], [PLZ Ort], Germany.

2. Service

The platform lets you create a personal story page with texts, photos and a question. Creating and previewing is free. Publishing under its own address is a paid feature.

A published story remains available for at least 24 months from publication. After that we may remove it with four weeks' notice by email, provided an email address is on file.

3. Purchase via Lemon Squeezy

The purchase is processed by Lemon Squeezy LLC acting as reseller (merchant of record). Your contractual partner for the purchase is Lemon Squeezy; their terms apply, prices are shown including VAT and invoices are issued by Lemon Squeezy.

The story is unlocked automatically once payment is confirmed, usually within seconds.

4. User obligations

You may only upload content you hold the necessary rights to and whose publication the people shown consent to. Offensive, harassing, pornographic or unlawful content, or content exposing third parties, is prohibited.

We may take stories that violate these rules offline without notice. No refund is owed in that case.

The edit link is secret. Anyone who has it can change the story. Keep it safe; a replacement is only possible upon proof via the email address on file.

5. Availability and liability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee it. Maintenance is announced where possible.

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual duties and limited to foreseeable, typical damage.

6. Final provisions

German law applies. For consumers this applies only insofar as it does not deprive them of mandatory consumer protection provisions of their country of residence.
